Welcome to Grace Communion Orlando
Hello to all,
The Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Galatia of how the Holy Spirit works in us to connect and care for one another. In Galatians chapter 6, Paul points out how we are to live with each other spiritually, not in haughtiness but in modesty and with acute consciousness of our own imperfections. Paul insists that members of the body of Christ are interrelated and interdependent. Earlier he has reminded the church at Corinth that “If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together”. (1 Cor 12:26) And to the church at Rome he wrote, “We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak” (Romans 15:1 RSV) So this new life we have been born into by the Spirit is a shared life in Christ. AnyCommitment we have to love, any Commitment we have to reconciliation, and any Commitment we have to Kingdom transformation, must flow from its source – the very heart of our triune God. Please join us for worship this Sunday as we continue our current series “One-Anothering One Another”.
Scripture Reading- Gal 6:1-10 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Sermon Title: Connecting & Caring- Carry Each Other’s Burdens
Your Pastor and brother,
Scripture Reading- Gal 6:1-10 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. It is easy to become weary in doing good, and so we will look at the scriptural reminder with expectant trust and hope.

1 CORINTHIANS 6:19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
“The true posture of our heart is not revealed by how passionately we sing or how much we sacrifice on Sunday, but by how we behave toward our neighbor on Monday.” – Skye Jethani
