Bible Text: Phil. 4:4-9 | Preacher: Steve Schantz | Series: Advent |
Paul was in prison, chained to a Roman soldier, and awaiting a sentence that would end his physical life – – – yet he was encouraging the Philippians to “not be anxious about anything” and trust God. We live in a world of worry and negativity, causing many mental and physiological problems. Paul’s message was one of hope and encouragement – – – pointing us to the reality that God exists, He love us, and that even in tough times we should be thinking on the good things rather than the negative things. Lets lean on God during trials.
